Welcome to the Bittersweet Confections website!  Located in the heart of the city, Bittersweet Confections is proud to be a part of the rebuilding of New Orleans, Louisiana, by helping to make our local community prosperous and inviting once again!

All of Bittersweet Confections gourmet truffles are handmade right here in New Orleans using our local dairy for cream and butter.  We use only the freshest ingredients to make our handmade chocolates.  The zest of a lemon, fresh ginger root, and freshly brewed coffee, for example.  Each truffle is hand-scooped, shaped and finished with one of our signature garnishes.  Try our "Second-Line" collection featuring a Bananas Foster truffle for a real taste of New Orleans!

Bittersweet’s truffles are perfectly suited for any occasion and make the perfect wedding favor, corporate gift and/or holiday treat.  Select from our pre-boxed collections which are available in quantities of one, two, four, eight or sixteen or visit the boutique and create your own collection.

Custom gourmet chocolates are now available. We can personalize your packaging for your special event with custom ribbon and boxes, perfect for corporate gift-giving and wedding favors .
